[Forestry 101] How To Use A Hydraulic Breaker

Welcome to your next “Forestry 101” lesson of the Farming Simulator Academy! In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to use the hydraulic breaker to get rid of rocks. If you want to plant trees in a certain location or want to turn an area into a field for agricultural operations, you have to get rid of them via the hydraulic breaker.

What You Need For Breaking Rocks

• Tractor: To move the trailer.
• Skid steer loader: Used in combination with the hydraulic breaker.
• Hydraulic breaker: Powerful machine to break rocks.
• Front loader: To pick up stones from the ground.
• Universal bucket: Used with the front loader.
• Trailer: To transport the stones.

Let's Get To Work

Step 1: Break the rocks

Move to the rock in your path and activate the tool by unfolding it. Aim it at the rock and move the arm of your skid-steer loader into the rock until it vanishes bit by bit. 

Step 2: Load the stones

Well – now, we got a pile of pebble-like stones, and we need to move it. Using a shovel, you can load it into the trailer.

Step 3: Sell the stones

To transport stones, use a trailer that is suitable for heavy-duty loads. Once you have loaded the stones into the trailer using a shovel, you can sell them for example at the cement factory.

Processing Stones: Products

You can deliver stones to the cement factory to process them into cement, cement bricks, and roof plates.
