Carpathian Countryside

Welcome to Carpathian Countryside. Fictional map inspired by a modern real life agricultural company and its surroundings in western Slovakia.

Map features:
3 Pre-placed farms. To use them or interact with anything you have to buy them by purchasing the farm land they are built on.
- Main Farm - The largest pre-placed farm on the map, consisting of: 2 cow barns, 1 pigsty, 1 horse barn, farmhouse, large grain silo with production point for making animal feed, vehicle workshop, 2 covered bunker silo buildings ( 6 bunkers in total), many shelters for vehicles or any packaged or loose goods, large manure storage, slurry tanks, water tower and more.
(If you start in new farmer game mode, you already own the Main Farm).
- Pig Farm - All about the pigs with: 2 pig barns, grain silo, bunker silo, vehicle workshop, vehicle shelter, manure storage, bale shed, bulk storage, water tower and slurry tanks.
- Sheep Farm - Includes: 1 sheep barn, 1 chicken coop, grain silo, vehicle workshop, manure storage, vehicle shelter and bale shed.
- All 3 pre-placed farms are fully editable, you can sell individual buildings or parts of fences - you can expand the farms. You can sell everything and build your own farm on the same place. Most buildings and objects used on pre-placed farms also have their placeable variants included in the map.

- Collectibles included. 100 wooden toys divided into 10 sets, 10 collectibles in each set. The reward for collecting is 1,000, the reward for completing the entire set is 100,000 and the toy will be displayed on the shelf in your room in the office building.
- 39 fields. Especially large fields with different shapes, also some medium and small. Some fields have electricity poles in them, their collisions can be disabled /enabled at any time - to do so visit the town hall next to the main farm.
- 3 unmarked meadow fields.
- Large forest area. 7 purchasable forest parcels with different sizes, conditions and corresponding prices.
- Several small streams crisscross the land, with free water withdrawal.
- Field missions included, mission NPCs with Slovak names.
- Train system - driveable train with railroad silos and sell point.
- 6 selling stations, each interested in a different type and quantity of goods.
- 3 buying stations, Farm supplies and Lime station - possibility to buy farm consumables (e.g. seeds, fertilizer) directly in the trailer. Livestock market provide the opportunity to buy manure, slurry and animal feed from them.
- 9 Production sites: Bakery, Grain mill, Dairy, Sugarmill, Sawmill, Carpentry, Spinnery, Tailor shop, Biogas plant. The map contains several small and cheaply purchasable plots, perfect for building on other production points. Production sites have their own forklifts, which can be used by all.
- Custom animal settings - slightly adjusted: food and straw consumption, manure, liquid manure and milk production and animal prices. Sheeps and chickens produce manure if beded with straw (Only husbandries included in the map or a mod that meet requirements). Sheeps produce also milk (without mods like EAS overwriting these settings).
- Custom crops: Alfalfa and Clover, these are part of animal feeding. Placeable bunker silos accepting these crops to make silage of them are included. Pre-placed bunker silos on the map all accept them aswell.
- Enhanced crop growth stages for all crops on the map. Each growth stage has different height so the growth looks much smoother.
- Not all crops require rolling. Crops that require rolling: wheat, barley, canola, oat, soybean. Crops that do not require rolling: maize, sunflower, potato, sugarBeet, sugarCane, cotton, sorghum, poplar, grass, oilseedRadish, alfalfa, clover.
- Placeable Orchards (apples, pears, apricots and plums) require water, special fertilzer (purchased in shop) and compost. Produced fruits can be further processed in placeable fruits and vegetable processing plant.
- Placeable Advanced Greenhouses with new vegetable types (cucumber, green pepper, onion and watermelon) require more care - water, special fertilzer (purchased in shop) and compost - With all these nutrients they produce vegetables faster. Greenhouses produce also organic waste as byproduct. Produced vegetables can be further processed in placeable fruits and vegetable processing plant.
- Compost making - compost is required in the orchards and greenhouses and can be also used as fertilizer on fields (NOTE: Not supported by Precision Farming DLC) or sold for profit. Compost is made in Compost silo from organic waste, grass, hay, straw and other similar materials.
- Vehicle store offers telescopic loader that can be used by everyone to load pallets or bales that you bought there, so you don't need to bring your own loader.
- All selling stations and productions have different opening hours. The gates open and close automatically at specific times. (All closed by default when you first started the game, wait an hour in game to bring them back to normal cycle). If you need to do something urgent even after closing, you can open the gates manually.
- Seasonal growth is mostly same as the base game (fits very well with the map's land) but with added option to plant barley and wheat in the spring - in march. Cotton and sugarcane are not typical for the map's land, but you can grow them if you want, NPCs will not.
- Custom seasonal weather, typical for the country of the map.

- Precision Farming DLC ready. Custom soil map included.
- Platinum Expansion DLC ready. Transport company selling station also supports products from the DLC and it is also possible to sell wood containers via the train or directy to container trader selling station.
- Premium Expansion DLC fully supported.
- Manure System mod ready.
- Straw Harvest Addon support (e.g: in selling points)

- Removed sugar beet cut as an option in cow feed mixture so any automatic feeding robot work properly again.
- Cow barns with feeding robot included in the map will now accept also dry alfalfa and clover.
- Added support for the Farm Production Pack DLC in selling stations.
- Added spanish translation.

Changelog (New save game is NOT REQUIRED but there are things you need to know before updating, read carefully. Changes marked with: (*) will reflect only in new save game.)
- Added full support for Premium DLC.

- Significantly increased production speed for Fruit and Vegetable Processing Plant.
- Added icicles hanging from roofs to all buildings on the map, visible during the winter.
- Adjusted weather, lowered average temperatures for summer and winter. Temperatures during summer should not go over extremes as 40+ degrees (for the map country) and colder winter so snow can potentially last longer.
- Removed liquid manure tanks on the main farm and pig farm as standalone pre-placed objects. Instead they are now part of each animal barn they correspond to. NOTE: Make sure to use or move your slurry stored in these tanks, before updating the map, if you do not want to lose it! When loading existing save game you will get warning / error messages in log, regarding these tanks. It is normal you can ignore that. (will happen only once and that is because it will try to load something that no longer exists.)
- Simplified rails and railroad props collisions. This should help a bit with performance when you are near rails or in places such as train station aswell as easier crossing of rails outside the railway crossings.
- Added enhanced crop growth stages for all crops on the map. Each growth stage now has different height so the growth looks much smoother.
- Barley and wheat can be planted in the spring now (in march).
- Some crops do not require rolling now.
- (*) Fixed snow masks for pre-placed farm buildings. There will be no more empty, non snow covered small areas when some buildings where sold.
- A lot of minor visual, gameplay and other improvements.
- Added french translation.

- Added option to choose color of walls or other parts to some placeable buildings.
- Added placeable orchards (apples, pears, apricots and plums).
- Added advanced greenhouses with new vegetable types (cucumber, green pepper, onion and watermelon).

- Adjusted all object storage buildings. The automatic object storage feature can now be either enabled / disabled at any time, make sure to empty the storage before switching modes.
- Fixed company vehicles, they no longer need refueling and repair.
- Fixed an issue with side silage pits, on the main farm, for the Courseplay mod helper stopping at the back of the silo.

- Added option to disable electricity pole collisions in fields.
- Added custom manure heaps and extensions.
- Added placeable cow barn variants with feedeing robot.
- Improved object storage buildings and increased capacities. Consumables storage building is now also functional, can be used as pallet storage.
- NPCs will no longer grow cotton (not realistic for the map location. Availabe for you to grow if you want.)
- Reduced buy prices for animal food at the livestock market to more reasonable values.
- Chipwood boards product in sawmill now has its own fillType and pallet. Can be sold or further processed to make furniture in carpentry.
- Improvements and tuning to both sawmill and carpentry. Carpentry now also produce woodchips as byproduct.
- Tuned some productions built into the map - increased storage capacities and speed.
- Fixed tip collisions not beeing removed correcly, when preplaced building was sold. (For this to reflect 100% correctly, new save game is recommended.)
- Fixed rare occurrence of cow escaping the preplaced cow pastures.
- Fixed collectible texts, when collected all.
- Many small visual and other fixes, improvements across the map and placeables.
