Welcome to the Mittellandkanal
Welcome to the heart of Lower Saxony. Located between the Harz Mountains and the heathland, and in close proximity to the Mittelland Canal, this 4x map takes place here. It largely represents a real map section of the village of “Woltorf” in the district of Peine along with its surrounding areas. It is not an exact real-life replica.
The map is designed for nearly every type of gameplay and player. From single-player “small farmers” with 3m working widths to large-scale multiplayer farmers with heavy machinery. It also supports production management gameplay or “zero-to-hero” storytelling—everything is possible. Thanks to the option of purchasing individual “field barns” or “remote animal facilities” (which is quite common in this region due to limited farm expansion space within old village centers), expansion from small to large operations is also planned—provided you have the necessary funds. There are also designated building plots for creating your own farm, or you can establish yourself as a production manager in the industrial area.
Excellent soil quality (80–90 soil points) ensures high yields. In addition to grains, potatoes and sugar beets thrive particularly well, the latter of which can be delivered directly to the sugar beet factory. Extensive forest and woodland areas are available for forestry enthusiasts.

To make the map as authentic and versatile as possible, we have integrated numerous buildings, decorative objects, and placeables. As we maintain close collaboration with fellow modders within the community, the map includes many dependencies on mods from the ModHub, ensuring that all modders receive recognition for their work. Our goal is to fully utilize the possibilities of Farming Simulator.
